Product Description
JONES®MORTAR is the three component epoxy mortar without solvent. Its surface is homogeneous.
It could be practiced in different thicknesses. (depend on surface)
It is used for floors of storage, workshop, plant, factory, laboratory etc…in order to protect them against abrasion and chemical influences. It is possible for heavy loading on.
Standing weight, impact, abrasion and chemical influence well.
The thichness practice from 1-3mm is possible (depend on practice method)

Store in cool dry place. Keep away from heat and ignition sources.
Surface preparation
- For new concrete floor, it demands the time of at least 28 days to solidify completely. The concrete has to meet technical requirements such as the mixing ratio of water with cement, used additives, durability requirement of concrete, etc.
- The practiced surface humidity is not more than 4%.
- The humidity of practiced space is not more than 85%.
- The practiced surface should be completely cleaned. Oil, grease and chemical substances should be removed.
- Filling and leveling the holes and cracks on the surface (if any).
- The practiced surface should be leveled well.The surface preparation is completed on the day before it should be cleaned dirt again by suction before practiced.
- The recoating is carried out during the incompletion solidification of previous coating will get the best adhesion. If the recoating time is beyond the recommendation, the surface should be roughened again before recoating.
Application
- Part A and part B are in liquid form. Part C is in powder form.
- Firstly, stir well part A and part B separately to avoid deposition, and then pour part B into part A slowly.
- Continuously stir them well (min 3 minutes).
- Pouring slowly part C into the A with B mixture and simultaneously stir them well for complete dispersion until getting the available mixture. An agitator should be used to stirring.
- Pouring the available mixture as soon as possible onto the floor which was coated primer. Practicing quickly with suitable trowel for leveling and getting the wanted thickness.
- The hobnailed roller should be used to roll back and forth in order to release the air inside until seeing the shadows reflected in the surface. (Worker has to wear hobnailed jackboots to move on during practicing).
- The available mixture must be used instantly (don’t keep long over 30 minutes at 230C).
- Can be used to JOTHINNER® -404 diluted if necessary, the proportion using no more than 2% by mass. Clean the tools, equipment with JOTHINNER® 305 after using.
Precaution
- The practiced surface temperature is from 100C - 450C.
- The practiced space temperature is from 100C - 320C. (Higher temperature, quicker solidification, shorter practicing time).
- The practiced surface humidity is not more than 4%.
- The practiced space humidity is not more than 85%.
- It is needed to pour the available mixture onto the floor right after mixed in order to prolonging practice time.
- It should be practiced on a small area of floor before on a large one to get the wanted finish.
- Drying time depends on temperature, humidity and ventilation of application space.
- High temperature and good ventilation help the drying time to be more quickly.
- Defects of the finish have to be prepared before the gelatinization of mixture starting.
- Walking onto is available 24 hours after at 230C.
